Hmm...that sounds like something that happened to one of my rats. She had a seizure, which was very scary, and then she died. :/

it wasnt really a seizure, it happened way too quickly =/

I hope I can get a pair some time. Of course I gotta wait a few months now thanks to Casey -_- I've always loved mice. I've seriously had at least 20 in my life so far. Those ones are really cute. Great photo!

Growing up my first pets were a pair of "female" mice. It turns out they were both male so we had to get another tank XD We also had field mice living in our stove that I used to catch and keep as pets. I managed to tame one but she died shortly after because she was already 2 at the time. I even had a "mouse hospital." When my cat would drag in mice I'd take them from her and get them cleaned up, set up in a tank and nursed them back to health. If they recovered within a week I would let them go but usually she did some damage to the point where they couldn't go back out in the wild and lived out their days in a tank. I never had one actually try to escape the tank either so they must have liked it. Granted you shouldn't keep field mice as pets anyway but they are so cute XD

Awww, that's so sweet!! I tried to tame a wild mouse once...but she escaped, and I never saw her again.......... xD

I had the tame one since she was at least a month old so she grew up around me and got used to me reaching in to feed her and scooping her to clean the cage so I guess after awhile she just decided I was a friend because one day she hopped into my hand and just sat there.

They can be really fun to hold, but they aren't quite as snuggle as rats have been for me. I miss both very much, just can't have them because of my job.

Aww...well I hope that sometime soon you can get another furry friend. :3

I can hardly bear to go to the petstore 8'C I fall in love with and want all the little rodents (cept gerbils LOL!) and almost couldn't resist bringing home a second rat last night. But he couldn't go in the same cage as Keemo because Keemo is aggressive ;_;

Aww...I have the same problem. xD But, I don't ever go over my pet limit! x3 7 fish, 3 rats, 1 cat, 1 dog, that is my limit!

My limit is 2 rats, 2 cats and 1 dog! But I only have 1 rat and 1 cat right now DX
