Hey noodle what did you do today?
I had a dream that was a Chris Tucker movie, but it was when he was a kid. He and another boy became frands in elementary school because they were both dragons. When they got older they were a couple screw ups but they wound up saving Winston Churchill's life. To commemorate them, he made a monument and park for all dragons, past present, and future. Humans could visit too. I remember visiting and the monument was a giant building that had open doors and walls and was basically just a ceiling supported by pillars, and the ceiling was a rich mosaic of the night sky and mythologies. There were also trails that went through an adjoining swamp, and the trails were made of metal alligators. One if them was designed by Churchill himself, but because he didnt understand engineering the alligator would sink like 8 inches every time you stepped on it because its pylons didnt go all the way to bedrock. The best part of this park is that dragons didn't hafta pay and so I got in free to do some geocaching!
I woke up at 9:45 with my alarm, but slept in until a little past 10 (had to set a second alarm), then I got up and got ready and headed out. Mum and dad were awake and I told them about my bad night's sleep, and dad tried doing some bullshit “Well you need to do X”...So I just walked away and left. I didn't take the trash with me, but I did grab a Pebis. I headed to Adam's, and their dog Daisy was outside when I arrived. Kristen was there, so I chatted with her for a bit. While talking with her in the kitchen, their boys were sneaking around the living room to try and surprise me, but because they were banging on the table I went to the living room and “found” them.
Adam and Kristen and I soon left, and I got to sit in the front seat. The kids didn't know where we were going, and guessed things like 'the mall' and 'Toys R Us' and the like. Adam told them Toys R Us no longer existed, and he and I made silent jokes about how disappointment was the best lesson they could learn. However we got to the theater and they guessed that we were gonna see the Sonic movie, and yep! These kids got hype!
We parked and got out and waited in line for tickets, and there were many kids. I checked the kiosk, but the wait was just as long. We got some tickets near the exit seats then went inside for some food and snacks. These lines were suuuuuper long, so Kristen volunteered to wait in line while the rest of us went to the theater to watch the movie. She joined us when the previews were on and I had a Cherry Conke. I drank it throughout the movie, which, lemme say, wow!
The first thing: A woman came in like 15 minutes late and very bitchily told some people behind us they were in the wrong spot. Please and Thank you, if you please! Second, there were so many kids and I am pretty sure most of the enjoyment was from how hype THEY were. There was a part of the movie where something was said and a kid repeated it. He got a laugh so he repeated it again, and people thought it was cute, then another repeated it...On and on! There was a part where a kid who, presumably having memorized some trailer, recited the lines word-for-word. Also the movie itself was actually REALLY FUN! Like seriously, who'd've thunk? And Jim Carrey was an amazing Robotnik!
When the movie was over we left and headed home. As we were leaving Paducah some dumb woman almost merged into our car, but Adam honked and she knew!
We got to Benton and stopped at McD's, where we got some food and I got a big mac with a large Sprite and a large fries. We drove to Kristen's mum's house and went inside and ate our food. While doing so Kristen's mum, who's been watching a Hallmark movie about love in a postal office, was excited to show several clips to Adam. Truth be told I was bored with it and glad to leave. Gryphon was happy to have us leave as well, because he liked being at her house alone. Before we left Felix told his grandma to protecc a lego figure he was working on.
We left and headed to Adam's mum's place. Gerald was outside and possibly inebriated, and told me I had gotten thicc. I went inside and said hi to Adam's mum, then I went back outside...But Adam wanted to say hi to her as well, so we went back inside. After we left (and left Felix there with her) we went back to their house. I helped Kristen find Felix's Silver the Hedgehog stuffed animal, then Adam and I relaxed and snoozed a bit in the living room for a bit. At around 4:30ish we woke up and headed out and came to the house...
…Well I did. Adam was right behind me, which gave me time to use the bathroom. Mum said that I forgot to take the trash, and said I could take it to the lake, which meant I could probably take it the next day. Adam arrived soon after and we went outside and chatted with everyone and drank a lot of beer! Because it was Phil's 58th Heineken birthday we had to go through that man...Adam, me, dad, Phil, Jerry, and Paul. We spent time chatting around the fire and slipping into inebriation. Mum and Carol brought some food for their spouses, so Adam and I went upstairs and got some food, and I ate a Sloppy Jose and a some bacon from the baked beans and some Deviled Eggs and some cheesebol dip. After eating we returned back to the fire and chatted a bit more.
Adam and I each drank about 7 Heineken beers, and as we finished Dad and Phil were pretty out of it. I helped Phil walk to the kitchen (he tried getting in the backseat of a bunch of our cars), where Kathy agreed to take him home. While they were out Adam and I decided to start playing cards and stuff with mum. We played some Screw Your Neighbor, then some Center, Left, Right dice games. I didn't have any money and Adam didn't either, but we got some loaned to us and played. I lost many games, but several of the later games (When Kathy, Carol, and Jerry joined Dawn, mum, Adam, and I) I won. Dad was feeling too drunk to play, but the rest of us did. Also Adam and I thought it was funny to cheat. One of the games he pulled cards from the discard pile, which he was in charge of (I won that game by quickly trading cards with him before he had time to cheat, since he and I were the last ones in the round) and in the final game I just took quarters from the center pot while no one was looking! :B
At around 1:30ish we finished, and Adam and I went downstairs and chatted for a bit. He was just shy of $5 and I had exactly $8. After chatting a bit he headed home, and I spent some time typing and watching Duckman. I wound up heading to bed a little before 4 AM.
I hope everyone has a Heineken Birthday day! <333
