03-10-20 [Strongest of Birbs]
Hey noodle what did you do today?
Well I woke up at 10:30ish when my alarm went off but didn't hear mum upstairs, so I went back to sleep. I woke up at 11:30ish when I got a call from the temp agency in Paducah, and they said they had a job working maintenance at a bitcoin mining company and wanted me in at around 3ish. While chatting mum had called and after ending that call, I called her back. She said she had groceries and asked if I could help, but gave me a mulligan on that one since job opportunity!
I got dressed and got a shower and got ready and headed out. I got a call from Kyle at Aerotek and he said he was scheduling an interview with an AutoCad company. I stopped at Wendy's and got 3 Junior Cheeseburg Deluxes and a large conke (They said I needed a lot of fluids to pee in a drug test), then from there I headed to Paducah. I stopped at Books A Million and used the bathroom then bought Dune, The Graveyard Book, and like 6 really nice anthology books!
From there I drove to the temp agency and began filling out paperwork, then while doing so I happened to mention my sprained ankle...The only reason for this was because I wanted them to know I'd be slow on it for a couple days. Instead of accepting this, they told me I had to go to a doctor to get a note saying I could work. Hecc! I stopped my paperwork early and headed to the doctor's, and Dr. Telle was too busy to see me but Dr. Stewart could do so the next day, so I scheduled that for 2. I then headed home and went downstairs, where I nodded off while watching some tubes. I got a call from Kyle at Aerotek and he said I had a phone interview at 3 on Friday, making me think that maybe I should hold off on the Paducah job for a couple days to see how that shakes out...I do like the area, but the AutoCad job would be more in line with my skills, I think.
I went upstairs around 9ish for a big plate of spaghet and some strawberries, and while doing so I started reading the Scifi anthology (Flatland was first book!), then went back downstairs. I wound up staying up until only about 11:30, 'cause dang I was tired! Early!
