For everyone who actually is in this position (chopping hot peppers or touching anything else with capsaicin), or if you accidentally get capsaicin in or on sensitive areas (such as your eyes, or in your mouth if you weren't expecting to eat something that spicy), wash the affected area with full-fat milk. It washes the OMGI'MGONNADIE! oil right away.

Alas, however, washing your hands will *NOT* remove capsicum oils... Believe me; been there, done that (pepper spray at work, then wanting to take a piss 12 hours later - only to find out that the stuff was still on my hands, even after several rounds of hand washing).
