When we returned to the dance hall, we didn't say a single word to each other as we prepared for another song.
We danced, oblivious to everyone around us. We didn't stop even as the songs changed, and we kept on, dancing as though it were a single, perfect melody.
We danced, and before we knew it, the music had stopped.
