Yeah, yeah, emo looking picture, but I actually managed to turn moping into something productive instead, that gave me some slight practice with facial expressions/poses/perspective. I actually like it just plain shaded-sketch-like like this, so I'll keep it that way. I think it suits. I shaded his facial marking in this because it adds to the effect, and made use of the fact he's a chainsmoker to show just how long he's been sitting there.

A couple of fun facts:
- Waay back before I went on the internet or discovered furries, I drew Spike in this manner, shaded (with a plain mechanical pencil rather than a Photoshop brush, though) and no colour. I actually realised this is why I made him white when I first made him a character online.
- The time on the clock is actually significant for two reasons: 1) It's late for both a living person AND a vampire to be staying up; 2) This song: http://listen.grooveshark.com/#/s/3AM/1lyF4W
