Velvet --> a cool song from an awesome band.
I personally relate to it a bit too well, plus its my fave music genre, so I made a quick photoshop 1 layer thing. Perhaps I'll do something better later. I need to draw little things for myself, as there are too many stressers and people wanting shit from me (relatives included) when I have too much on my plate already. I'm sure many know the feeling.
Now I have to finish a paper for finals that is due tomorrow. JOY.

Thanks. You should look at other shoegaze bands if you like the swirling layered sound. It is really conducive to arting. :3 This song is my fave from that band. No other genre can get so much of a thick atmospheric soundscape.
Its kinda funny, because I had only HEARD of shoegaze about a week ago, and BAM here it is :3
Too Young To Love is really really good, but I think my favorite of theirs that I've heard so far is still Velvet. Its just got that gentle, brooding sadness that's so rare in music these days. Music that can actually make you FEEL something.

This picture is fantastic ;_; I really love the stuff you do all on one layer, actually. It has a 'look' to it, you know? It's not quite so clean-cut and precise, but that's what gives it a personality!

One layered pics tend to be that way if I do them fast (like this). Line art is not conducive to my senses. It boxes in form much to early in the art process and is too artificial feeling to me, though I use it occasionally. I much rather block in paint areas like oils, but can refine them if I devote some time to it. :D Oh, I'm fine, I just liked the song and the message of it.
