If Nemui had learned anything from those under her care, it was the healthy activity of self reflection. Self reflection is the act of introspection; of learning who you truly are within. It was also a time to understand personal growth and Nemui had found unexpected comfort in that introspection. What had formerly been shame and disregardance, became acceptance - what had been forgotten was remembered once again. Nemui had blossomed from the timid and shy cub, Hush, into the warrior she was now, but she had become grateful for Hush and the groundwork she had laid. The bear’s sense of duty, her determination and inner strength had all come from this girl who had beaten down her whole life and lost in the shadow of her superiors. Now, she was one of the last of her once mighty clan. The rest of her kind had been lost to the dark... But she still stood tall against the relentless tempests. As she stared into the mirror-like surface of the water she floated so daintily upon, Nemui did not see her face; she saw Hush’s face peer back, her younger self’s eyes of dawn a prelude to the elder Nemui’s sunlike pair. They both shared a gentle smile as Nemui whispered.
