They actually sound good in sequence like this. The syncopated hats feel like a good rhythmic response to the previous few bars. I'd try to make the pitched elements respond as well, which you seem to mostly have already done. Ngl tho that open hat is a little abrasive; perhaps a ride or other open hat sample?
