Here's what I drew for the first art show hosted at my work. I was a little hesitant at first to sign up, but in the end I couldn't resist a chance to flex in front of my coworkers. :P They were loose with the theme. It just had to have something transportation-related in the picture, so I thought this would be a great time to give my human characters some love. :heart: I chose not to include any fantasy elements because I really didn't want to explain to my bosses why there were animal people and why a girl is blindfolded. ^^;
The art show went well! There were about 20 submissions in all sorts of mediums; photography, scale models, scratch art (don't know the actual name), a 3D topographic map made out of plastic straws and this gorgeous acrylic painting. My drawing was received well. I think I surprised my coworkers. XD
Anyway, I'm really proud with how this came out. I would like to try to make more full color illustrations some day. ^_^
