A feline warrior pic I was working on this evening, not going to use any inks on this, it will be all pencil. I scanned it now so I have a copy before shading, and as far as the shading, I will probably add it later today, after a bit of sleep. But I hope everyone likes this version as well.
And he has no name so far :(

From the moment that I saw him, Conan popped into my mind and has stubbronly remained. Not as a name, but as a character. He reminds me of Mark Schultz's illustration for Howard's first Conan novel, "The Phoenix on the Sword." link:

Phoenix is a promising name, especially if this feline's curiosity gets him into all sorts of disasterous situations, from the ashes of which, he always manages to arise.
How about Cimmeron? Robert E. Howard was vacationing in or near Cimmeron New Mexico in 1932 when he conceived of Conan of Cimmeria, and wrote a poem called Cimmeria.

Lots of possibilities there.
