A children's book from 1909 - early Furry political satire. The Roosevelt Bears were a popular early 20th Century US series of children's books centered on the characters Teddy B. and Teddy G - friends of President T. Roosevelt. This copy has been in my family since 1913 - note on inside blotter page To Ruth for Xmas 1913.
The Roosevelt Bears books seem to be in print again - picked up a copy of the first of the series in paperback a few years ago from Amazon. The Illustrations are wonderful - will post a pic or two of some of them.
