But to be honest: I once asked this myself. It came out when a pal and me discussed that thing with the tree: If a tree falls in a forest and no one is there to here the crash. Does it make a sound? We ended up questioning if no one is there, is there even a forest?

You don#t know how much time my pal and me spend on this. We came to the idea: Maybe the whole universe just exist because our senses telling us there is a universe... Or so... ^^

I once thought so too, but it would make no sense...

You are sure? (creepy voice) Your senses telling you everything is there. How could you know they are not lying to you when you need your senses to check if they are lying or not?^^

Everything has a reason... if our senses tell us how the world is, then it must be for a good reason that we see our universe like this... if it would not exist then it would be pointless to create senses..

Just like this our thinking went... several hours. Just lets say our senses telling us we hit these keys on the keyboard, so they must be there hehe. Or I will get headache...

And what sense would that actually have? It makes a lot more sense if the senses tell us we are pressing the key cause it is there, than being lied by them that it is there!

But... but... but... what if you stood at the far edge of the room and read the sign through a telescope? Obviously, you would not be "here," as the sign indicates, but "there," at the far edge of the room.

And what if you were not in the room at all? Then the room would be empty, with nobody "here," and therefore, the sign "You are here" would become a lie -- but a lie to whom? Because, after all, the room would be empty. Can a lie be a lie even when no one is there to be lied to?

I see I started something mysteriously hehe^^ Hehe and if you look into the telescope can you be sure the room is there at all as you don't see the walls around you anymore? (That is Stripey logic, maybe you all know now why Kehno is giving him slaps on the back on his hyena head so often)^^

which begs the question if stripey falls unconconscious in the woods and there is no one around to hear him does anyone care?
