That's definitely a weakness we have in common! I always have too many projects going on, especially games.
Right now I have two or possibly three RPG projects in the works, a couple of miniature wargames, and more stuff like that. I just find it oddly relaxing and enthralling to theorize and write down rulesets.
This one game system didn't take too long to conceive as it was from the start meant to be a quick, straightforward ruleset, easy enough to grab and learn and especially easy to 'execute', because I wanted something suitable for online play-by-post game that could be learnt quickly. I've reworked and tinkered with it quite often over a longer span of time, though.
I'm going to eventually share it, after I've seen a bit better how it 'behaves' and given a re-read to fix typos and stuff. However, it is already a completely written ruleset.

Excellent stuff, and still very much a set of familiar shoes to myself as well. I don't know how it is over there, but with the way things have been lately, I've had more time than ever to just plug away at stuff, but usually writing, and seldom illustrating anything. And that being said, it's nice to see the larger resolution pieces of these races of yours, as well as some information to each.
When the time comes for sharing, I'd be interesting in giving it a go over.
