It's actually concept sketch five or something but it's the second one I uploaded. Considering Omen is a bear in their innocent shape I felt it needed to better resemble a bear so I adjusted the head shape a bit. I feel it's much more bear-like now. and the body being thicker helps with that too. obviously this is a very very rough sketch but leaving this here for the concept. Not sure if mentioned in the last post but taking heavy inspiration from Balinese masks, especially the demon queen character Rangda. The true mask this is inspired by has an absolutely terrifying appearance and is one of the few things that actually is visually frightening to me (very few things seem to be!). Only issue is that it seems to make Omen look a bit psychotic rather than angry/vicious. I really need to adjust the design to portray that anger because the whole character is about vengeance and wrath. I need to adjust the teeth too cause I'm not satisfied with this particular look. I'm also going to draw inspiration from alebrijes when it comes to the patterning on the body. It needs to be almost hypnotic and just mesmerising and very in your face, glow in the dark, neon out of this world. She is supposed to make a huge impression and pretty much be the 'Omen' (roll credits) of death. Also kinda debating if I want there to be a tail or not. I feel it would make things more balanced but bears don't have long tails. then again bears don't look like this in the first place.
