"Still awake in there? Doesn't sound like it." Vel chrred to himself as he yawned, looking down at his stomach. "After all the fun's passed for you, it's still halfway through for me, that's the joy of being a predator you know~." He said with a chuckle, reaching down to rub his stomach and being met by loud gurgling and squelching noises. It wasn't often that he showed his own stomach this much attention, but it also wasn't often he was only halfway through his days and was still awake when his stomach shrank from a drastically exaggerated bulge, to a far more normal one to be expected of a creature like him. He stretched his legs out and curled his toes in as he felt a muscular clench crushing what was left inside of his prey that had been rendered into a soup of pure mana by his stomach.
"Course... the best part about being what I am is that you're still conscious for all this teasing, getting to look through my eyes at your own form softening up, shrinking down in my stomach as your flesh, blood, bones, your very soul, all drain away into my form." He said with a smile, exhaling a plume of silvery fire. "I can feel your blushing too~. Just consider this, all of this, the perks of befriending a dragon who can control life and death." He said as his stomach gave another low growl. "And no harm done at that, you'll wake up tomorrow, good as new, and I'll still have the extra heft from your contribution."
God. Another amazing piece of art of Vel that I couldn't be happier with. The way Halo drew Vel in her style really fits him I think, the way she draws belly and shows the scale-plating splitting apart to show Vel's more sensitive flesh underneath is an amazing touch of realism that looks SO good. Just... aahhh, I can't say how happy I was to get this piece and really want to get more from her in the future!
