So, 
littlewoof and 
finbabyfur found something special from the trashbin...
they found 2 complete AmigA 500 systems, one screen and one extra disk drive, I was battling with my own Amiga 500 to keep it alive and working, keyboard half broken, ports not working, it barely breathed, and then came the saviors... they brought me spare parts from the 2 amigas they found, reviving my Amiga to it's full glory, PLUS I got a working monitor AND an extra disk drive... I can never thank them enough

so now me and littlewoof are being epic and playing some moonstone in my kitchen (!)

Only one external drive? I used to have a custom hack that provided direct connections for three external "IBM" floppy drive units. Autoconfig and all... Just plug it in and play The Secret of Monkey Island from start to finish without swapping disks. I may still have that (prototype) board and schematics for it somewhere... It looked hideous but it worked. :P
