A wolverine? Nahh.. they don't want that. They want to dig, throw a fit, and just climb a tree. And gnaw on something mangled and dead. We had to remove a partial license plate and some car tire rubber from the stomach of one a few years back. Trust me, they are bottomless pits! XD
I would really love to get my hands on some paper like this but I find it hard to find. The only one I found had a smooth waxy texture which I don't like drawing on much, short of collecting paper bags I have no idea where else to find it. Where did your friend pick it up?
The paper is some we get at a local store in Toronto called "Gwartzman's art supplies". He has a LOT of it, and you can by them pre-bound, loose in bulk, or just single sheets.
On the other hand- your waxy sheets would be a GREAT way of breaking you in the habit of "bold drawing"- where you don't have the leisure to erase, since the onyl good medium on it would be pen. This actually helped to build a LOT more confidence in my drawing when I had a book like that!

This is true about the confidence thing. It is only a small little sketch book so I should take it out more often with me for some bold life drawing.
On the other hand, I totally know where that store is and know how awesome it is, so I will have to make a day trip to that place once again to re-supply on my art stuff :3 so thanks for letting me know :3
