Well, what better way to brighten up these days if not by drawing some happy Blue Jays? :D This was a little gift for a friend, actually!
I have to say, I love the plumage on these guys, such pretty blues on the wings! This one took a bit of extra time to shade and colour, but that's alright, I'm very happy with how it came out!
I'm also trying to experiment with drawing additional, smaller lines here and there to give the feathers some extra shape!
And I've got a couple more projects lined up, now that I have a lot of free time on my hands! Hoping to show those off very soon too! ;)
And as always, any feedback or constructive criticism is most appreciated! It can only help me improve my skills! :)
