This is something Merlin and I put together for  AishadeCabre's birthday. It depicts her character's brother, Ayan, who was sent off to fight for his evil king. As such, he was out-of-town when Aisha's village was destroyed, and she has been looking for him ever since just to find out if he's still alive.
Unluckily for Ayan, he was killed in action, but fortunately, owing to some kind of curse, he rose again and is, as Ren put it, "mortally challenged", hence the metal reinforcements covering his death-wounds. So the answer to Aisha's question of whether he's alive or dead, is "Yes".
One day we'll get a story where they are reunited. One day...
