This started as a Thrusday Prompt. It is now a series of stories that I am calling Rescue Corps. Loosely based on the Pokemon franchise it is about a young gay couple and their career in a special organization that specializes in rescue missions of all kinds. It takes place in the far flung future where all Pokemon are now anthro and humans are superstition and myth.

[EDIT 3/21/11] Uploaded a revised version with a few more details and I've clarified some things. I have decided to make this an ongoing series.

I have such a memory of Pokeman that is very special... I stopped at the grocery store one day during the height of the card trading, and as I was walking in from the parking lot, the bag boy, who was older, and obviously mentally challenged, held out a handful of cards and asked me if I wanted to trade cards with him.
He was so very sweet.
