Well - it's supposed to be very much like the sort of settings that you find in S.T.A.L.K.E.R or various post-apocalyptic games or movies..so yes, I suppose it could be set in Pripyat. The background outside the window is probably very similiar to a certain area in the zone, there.

Yeah, the building and ferris wheel (from the amusement park) are what kind of gave it away for me. Chernobyl and Pripyat have been points of interest for me for a while now, so they popped out at me immediately. Hehe. x3

That's one thing. one area may be safe for a while, but there's still pockets of dristing radiation... plus the shit that come from the red forest can be damn scary
