Selkisis Relaxing - By Tegerio
Tegerio shows us Selkisis sitting pretty and relaxing. She is a twitchy girl, scared of most things.
It's nice to see her calm and relaxed.
Untilo she notices she has a shadow (probably).

She uses olive oils:
• step one, she dabs a few towels with the oils, possibly perfumed ones.
• step two she starts dabbing them, slowly, making sure every crack, nooke and cranny is filled properly (taking care to avoid the eyes).
• step three she starts rubbing, making sure any towel that is too soiled gets swapped.
• step four she takes the clean towels and starts removing the excess oils.
On shedding season it's the hardest, because to keep looking beautiful, she needs to go and fetch all the pieces of skins in her joints to remove them properly.
Usually this is done with a small brush or metal brush, depending on how rash-ed the skin is by the shedding... also with tiny scissors for those hard to remove bits.
Then she uses the oil to smooth those bits off and a bit of styptic stone for the small cuts.
The hardest part is keep looking nice part-way during scute shedding... that's... tricky.
If she really has to be in a formal situation... She usually paints over the pieces of shell near to be detached with ink to cover the unsightly discoloration and tries to mask with jewelry the parting and frayed edges.
But usually she prefers to just stay with friends during the month or so needed, avoiding formal events, staying in her spinach garden or under the sun as much as possible because that makes the scutes detach faster. She also eats a lot of spinach and liver during that period because those also help a lot making it faster.
Also tons of brushing to help ease the natural shedding of the scutes and *NEVAH* pulling on those scutes... it really really hurts and stings for days.
That concludes the lesson on how to take care of your scorpion girl's shell. 😂🤣😂👍💖🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓
(also i now totally want to commission this 😂)
