Because of this picture you posted earlier, I wonder what a Villager Jaund would do.

I had notes on that somewhere, something like;

- must have a stump in front of a non-fruit tree
- wait a day
- he shows up to tell you trivia you might not know, game stats, how many steps you've made, how many times you've dug up things, so on
- gives you one unique random event furniture item as a gift, if you've fiddled with time travel he'll tell you that you shouldn't toy with time and not give you anything
- shows up once a month, will use the same stump if left as is with the tree behind it
