Okay, a little future into the Lion King Circusverse. This is an adult Malaika with her family. We have her husband Rex who is the grandson of the circus's former star Sheba https://www.furaffinity.net/view/29078022/ , and their son Sahara. As we can see, Sahara wears a similar frill like the one his mother wore as a child and Malaika has switched her's out https://www.furaffinity.net/view/28392155/ for a collar. I think the collar denotes who is the star of the circus, which is why Sheba wears one. Now just to remind everyone, this is set in an alternate universe. In the main universe set after the third season the Lion Guard, the Malaika of that universe marries Zuri's son Afua, and has two daughters and a son with him.
