This is a surprise gift for my partner! ;v; The print gets delivered tomorrow and then he'll finally see this!
I spent a couple weeks working on this piece, amidst being sick and house-sitting for my neighbors on vacation, and kept going back to change things. I am so happy with how it turned out!!
The photograph in the background is a picture I took at a beach in downtown Milwaukee. I hadn't eaten for a long time before we went so I ended up kinda collapsing into an anxiety attack, and he had to go get the car and pick me up. xD But it was a nice beach and it's a repeated signal that I can trust him and that I don't have to always be okay. So the image has some significance and I'm sure he'll appreciate it. c:
