Man, looking back now, this is such a great design. The well-distributed and defined muscles, the scaled plates, dorsal ridges, and cranial shape altogether create a striking and cohesive humanoid reptilian silhouette; it's simply perfect imo.
Distinct enough to feel alien, but not so extreme that they lose readability, simple yet masterfully crafted.
