Talia Steele - By Sagitta-Scuti
SagittaScuti did the last main character of the last story i wanted to tell. From now on all characters will be part of other stories.And... yes.
It's a cyborg slime. Looking like a bejeweled lady in a bikini.
Don't think too hard about that.
It will only very slightly make more sense in context, but it's supposed to be a joke.
The story of Talia Steele is the story of what happens after the first encounter.
Everybody wants to tell the story of the first encounter. When humans and aliens meet.
But.
Once they have met the story usually ends.
Because... that's when the "boring" part starts.
The novelty has worn off, war was (somehow) avoided.
Uh... Now what?
We have completely alien cultures. That have met. Seen where they are different.
Aaand uhm... Yeah? What now?
Most people would jump to the part where the aliens are now completely part of the human society, star-trek wise, where everybody know about everybody else and they find it normal.
This is the story of Talia Steele.
Envoy of the first alien species ever met.
Looking at humans with alien eyes.
Learning how they live.
Trying to find ways for her people to live with them.
And, in general, how humans and her species could be useful to each other.
Reporting to her superiors, both human and alien, and finding out the cultural differences, the snags aaand... in general... all the idiocy and the serious stuff that comes when people form wildly different cultures try and work together without really knowing what that does mean.
And since i have to tell this story to a human audience, it will use '60s pulp sci-fi fiction tropes, both comedy and serious. With aliens that are both ridiculously human and completely alien.
I hope you guys will like it.
