So I picked up this beauty (in my eyes) as these were one of my semi dream cars to own. What makes this one nice is despite sitting for 2 years it fired right up, tires to get me by, all the bushings were done in polyurethane, all the interior is there, clean no accident title (will clear this up later), Came from texas to florida but the last 8 years were in florida, This car is cleeeaaaaannnnnnn there is barely any rust if any. Only rust is the typical spoiler holes in the trunk due to water collecting there. 5 speed with a isr short shifter, engine is quite healthy despite 188k miles, Comes with a box of goodies that imma be installing soon. Also this is my first car with anti lock brakes which is a plus for me as i tend to lock my brakes up easily. Lightly modded as well with a catback hks hipower, short shifter and slotted brakes and an ugly cone filter intake by injen so meh.

cons:
interior needs work as all the panels are there theyre just not installed due to a window issue

needs new interior switches besides the passenger side switches

sunroof leaks and needs a new seal and trim ring

the fiberglass roof board is warped from water

the side marker light on the passenger side was smashed from the guys grandma backing into it and also crushed the front bash bar in a wee bit and crunched the fender a smidge

Gonna need new headlights as theyre xenon but retrofitted and randomly dont wanna work due to a rats nest of wiring

battery is wedged with a cinder block

has a slight idle issue and i believe the idle air controller is filthy as i cleaned the throttle body and it cleared up the erratic idle a bit

some may think its a plus but i dont, it has a 4 puck clutch that shudders badly but it does grab hard lol

has something on the belt drive that is making noise and i believe its the alternator or water pump

exhaust hangs quite low

needs a better suspension system that isnt a cheap ebay set

the most basic of maintenance needs to be done thus the box of goodies brakes, cleaning the intake system, oil change and that

THE TINT IS HARD TO SEE OUT OF!!!!!!! im paying to remove it too

cracked dash as per usual with nissans and older japanese cars

center bezel is smashed

while it has a new gas tank they forgot to put the fuel vent back on so i capped it for now so it doesnt smell like gas in the cabin

obviously needs paint lol

Pros:
New polyurethane bushings

kouki front end

Runs and drives great but the tires need balancing

lightly modded

everything is basically there and the interior is clean

texas/florida car

gotta admit it was decently maintained mechanical wise

it is tight driving down the road

got way more power than the miata

ac does work but needs an oring on the compressor so it doesnt leak

body is quite straight. only a few dings and the hood doesnt line up with the fenders

did i mention no rust

my plans are simple, its gonna be an oem+ car. Jdm kouki spoiler, lmgt4 wheels, maybe a turbo, painted silver, gonna have a limited slip put in it, 5 lug hub swap and make it a nice daily driver. No im not gonna turn it into a drift car so dont ask or bitch me out for it.
