They're made from a polyurethane rubber, with pigment added. The ones for hand-paws are made in a 40-shore hardness rubber (about as soft as that used in rubber bands) and foot-paw pads from an 80-shore version (about as hard as a car tire).
Black and pink are the standard colours I use, but I can mix other colours to order.
I make a master version, make a silicone mould, then cast the rubber in. Takes about 48 hours to cure.
