I have the boxed set of the full series on LaserDisk , if it comes out on blu-ray, I plan to upgrade if it’s remastered in HD from a film original; otherwise SD is SD and I can upconvert with the best of ‘em.
I’m just transferring it to digital as a safety measure incase my LD player fails; while they do still make the players, I’m dubious as to how long that may continue to be so.
Fortunately, transfer of works to a more modern media is one of the rights that they haven’t messed with… yet.
Now, if I were trying to go from DVD to Blu-ray, I’d run into problems with the DMCA/DRM/HDCCP Gestapo; as I’m dealing with non-copy-protected media, DMCA doesn’t apply, DRM has no say over analog sources and HDCP can sit and spin their Fascist buts into oblivion.

Yeah... got into it after they became obsolete. I went to a thrift store and there was a huge bin of them... $1 a piece! Left there with 80 plus discs.... and there were 100 plus more left!~ Car is going to be hopefully towed to Firestone today... and then they can tell me whats wrong~ Thanks (hugs)
He was Satan, actually. The whole episode was like...some kind of subtext about Heaven and Hell and Satan.
Yeah.
Pretty enjoyable, except when you have your TV turned up to listen to Kirk's hot voice and this BOOMING VOICE OF GREAT EAR SPLITTING PAIN comes up, well...it kinda hurts

"Captain, 'fascinating' is a word I use to describe the... unexpected. In this case I should think that 'interesting' would suffice."
-- "You don't find all this unexpected, Mr Spock?"
"That the wine is full-bodied and robust? That *I'm* full-bodied and robust, and make a damn fine example of a virile male as a faun? Not at all unexpected, Jim. In fact... perfectly logical. Now where's that Vulcan flute?"
