Doors! When you're building up animation assets, especially backgrounds, you have to be able to enthusiastically dive in to painting very mundane things that no one will ever draw fan-art of or ship or even realize they care about; and I love it. But remember: other people in the furry/concept art world have directly told me I'm not a real artist because I didn't do it digitally. Crazy stuff out there.

"You're not a real artist because you didn't do it digitally..." What. I'm pretty sure it used to be the other way around.
Still, they're nicely-made doors. Very established-looking, not Star Wars in age or lack-of-maintenance but not classic chrome either; there's a nice middle-ground these fit in.

I would want to respond to that deprecating statement with, "So real artists did not exist until the development of the cgi. Salvador Dali would laugh hysterically whilst smearing you with goat droppings."
I'm with you on drawing banal objects. Back when I was learning to draw furry, I used a Manga instruction book. It had a section on drawing objects from varying angles. One exercise was a bare room with plain tiles, a large floor-to-ceiling window which was recessed seamlessly from the wall via curved posts. There were fragments of plaster on the floor where the posts met the window glass.
I swear to you I found that fun to draw and ink.
