This is looking downstream(North) from the icejam pic. it is a little light but I thought it looked kind of need. I think it was right after this shot was taken that I fell through some thin ice into the river.

not the first time iv fallen through some thin ice and had wet feetpaws. im sure it wont be the last either. im just glad I didnt drop my camera.
years ago I fell through the ice on snowmobile. that was the coldest experience Ive had with falling through. but that was like my whole body so i guess its to be expected.

well I wouldnt say that. Its just I grew up in the cold so im more used to it is all. I never said I set out to fall through ice but it happend twice this year. once in december and once in feb. both times about up to my knees. its not fun and I wish it would never happen again but after this winter I am having trouble getting comfy in temps above 60F it seems. I just boil up :/
