It was found that at the start of the closing ceremonies we would be just shy of breaking last years record for donations. Since we broke every other record from last year, the box was passed around as the ceremonies continued. At the end, we did in fact beat last years record :D

yeah, believe me, having booked an extra day (despite the reasons not coming to fruition), I can tell you that the party does not truly stop til Monday morning. I stayed till closing certs last year and made an effort to stay for them this year, it really is worth it. :3
