I had been caught, exposed to the giantess now looming over me.
She stood impatiently, waiting for something resembling an explanation to tumble from my quivering lips. It would come whether I wanted to or not, especially if she had to force the issue upon me and make me talk.
I tried, I surely did, but nothing would come from my lungs as I expected her to simply end me on the spot and be done with it. I did my best to calm myself and begin uttering something that at the very least sounded like a common language to her, which got her attention but only seemed to inflame her ire as what reached her ears only sounded like a chipmunk with its cheeks stuffed by nuts.
Eventually, I was able to spill out enough that she listened to my words, and her body relaxed. The more I spoke the smoother my speech became until it was clear and concise even though I had my head lowered in shame at my misdeed. I could see the effect it had on her as she had lowered herself to my level and despite the serious look on her face I could tell she was will to express mercy on my part and not resort to any violence. I was grateful.
In the end, she let me go, with a warning, as we parted ways and headed off to our respective homes. It would be a refreshing new step in the right direction for both of us as from then on I was welcome in her home so long as I respected and lived by the rules of her making. In turn, she would grant me the opportunity to roam about as I pleased and take whatever I needed.
A partnership born out of an initial confrontation is one that benefits both as I have learned the hard way, but am willing to partake in from now onward.
Hope you like this spontaneous story I just wrote from this picture. Ciao.
