I can relate to this, tesral. Mercifully, my spring allergies have not been as bad as last year (at least until last night), but one cough or a sneeze, and yeah, "treated like a plague rat" is as good a description as any. And it's no fun.

I fucking go through this shit every time I go to the grocery store! My local store has implemented lines letting people in/out in controlled groups so people don't go nuts. It's a fancy store so there's LOTS of landscaping/trees/plants, and the line goes right through the store's gardening section, all of which stirs up my allergies! So every time I go to the store by the time I get inside through the long line I'm snotting and coughing and I feel like everyone is looking at me like a plague rat or something.
