Nyx was starting to consider it. All it would take was a single step forward and it'd be too late to catch herself. And no one would ever notice she was gone. If they did... well, they wouldn't miss her. And if they did miss her, it wouldn't be for long. They'd forget about her and move on.

It would be like she never existed.

"Hey!" A woman's voice shouting above the howling wind snapped Nyx out of her thoughts and she turned her head to look. She let out a breath she didn't even realize she was holding, fixing a wide-eyed stare onto the other female. She slowly inhaled and exhaled, though the air was sharp as glass and every breath she took burned a little. But that was okay. She didn't mind pain.

Nyx silently watched the wolf slow to a stop a few feet from her. "It's so much prettier in the daytime," the stranger said.

Nyx's eyes turned back to the sea, then the sky. Abyssal darkness, faintly grey with not a trace of the moon or stars. Only snowfall.

i was re-reading some old rps and felt inspired by one between nyx and my friend's character kole. their early interactions were REALLY good and i for real forgot how interesting they were together. they had a definite connection and chemistry that was unfortunately overlooked at the time. i'm excited for when we get these two interacting again. even though they haven't seen each other since the beginning of summer, nyx sure as hell never forgot about kole. hard to forget about an attractive woman who inadvertently saved your life
