As a Joe fan, I made up a Land Adventurer Joe in P4. I hadn't done anything with him since I made up a little introductory animation for a digital storytelling class this semester, so I decided to put him into typical Adventure Team action. Unfortunately when putting the image together his beard got messed up so now he is a Man of Action. Oh well. Still works! Can Joe get out of this mess? Find out next time! Maybe. *LOL*

Yes, I had thought about adding in an extra light to show him up more at the time, but then when I saw how it came out I thought it rather worked well in giving a gloomy and foreboding look to the work. I might do another render with the extra light in to see how good it looks with it in, and toss it into the scraps listing or somesuch for all to take a look at. I generated this in Poser 4, with Poser pro pack add on. I'll be sure to toss in some Poser 6 stuff in the future as well, now that my available props and characters for that program is growing as well. I hope this helps, and thank you for your critique and question! :)

No prob on the, if you can call it that, critique. We're all still learning our programs. While you (I'm guessing) deal only with Poser, I've got my work cut out with Poser, Bryce, and Maya. At the moment, I'm thinking of uninstalling Poser however to save some space since I don't use it too often. The stuff in my gallery is mostly made and rendered in Maya 8.0. I'd like to see if I can get Maya and Bryce working together.
In college I have used Maya PLE and Lightwave, those are very nice to work with, at home aside from Poser 4 and 6, I have Daz Studio, Bryce 4 and 5, as well as Shade 8, as well as a few other programs but I've been so busy, that I really haven't been able to devote too much time to getting down to playing with them. Poser4 tends to be the simplest to sit down and play with right out of the box, and Poser6 is lightyears more advanced than 4, so I am still learning how to work everything in that program.
It shouldn't be any problem for you to get Maya and Bryce to work together just exporting and importing the geometries. You have some very nice 3d, sculptural, and 2D works in your gallery! Keep up the great work! :)

Wow, now thats a true laundry list of programs. I, alas, jumped on Poser 5 when it was on sale, and have found it to be a bit of a headache.
If you don't mind me asking, what is Shade? I've heard the name being bounced around, but noone gives a direct answer to what it is used for.

I have a few other programs that I installed and haven't touched since. If you can find it, chack out the UK 3d Magazines such as 3d world and Computer Arts. Frequently they will have legit full versions of programs recently out of date in their content disks that come with them. you can usually find them in the magazine rack of your local well stocked local bookstore. Shade is a modelling program from Japan that is now sold out here by E-frontier. The websites for the magazines are.. 3D World http://www.3dworldmag.com Computer Arts http://www.computerarts.co.uk Enjoy!

The magazines can readilly be found off over at Barnes and Noble. And they do have overseas subscriptions. They're a bit pricey, but hey, for the free stuff you get, it can be worth it.. :) It's best though to look at the individual issues to see what they have. There have been times in the past with both magazines pretty much had almost the same free stuff on disk in the same month.
