Ever since I got this commission from Sara, I knew I had to have her draw a ref sheet for Mercer. And while it may be long overdue, here it finally is!

As with Rath's sheet, I'm going to be adding details about him to this description as time goes on, so feel free to check back every once in a while.

- The most important thing to note is that he's left-handed. He's also far-sighted, meaning he needs and owns a pair of reading glasses, but he never wears them unless he's alone. Instead, he makes do by holding what he's reading a distance away from his face.
- As depicted in the ref sheet above, he has human feet with non-pointy toenails. His fingers either have pointy nails or none at all (in which case it's implied that they're retractable).
- What the ref sheet doesn't quite show is that he has visible and strongly defined abs. (He wouldn't be an OC of mine if he didn't.)
- He's almost always wearing both his eyepatch and gloves. Since the eyepatch serves no practical purpose, it can be drawn over either eye depending on the image composition, though he usually wears it over his right.
- Not pictured in the ref, but he's got a human-like uncut penis as depicted here.
- His underwear of choice is jockstraps. Unless specified otherwise, he's wearing one of those under his pants.
- The outfit depicted above is what he usually wears when he's out on the streets. He may take off the jacket. The bandages around his wrists are also part of this outfit and are usually not seen in others.
- For sparring or working out, he usually just wears a pair of black sweatpants while barefoot, as depicted here, here, or here.
- Other outfits he's been depicted in include this and this. He shouldn't always be wearing either of the above.
- He has full control over his tail, able to coil it around people or things and lift lightweight objects with it.
- He's quite well-read, combining book smarts with street smarts.
- As for personality, he's cunning, a quick thinker, laid-back and carefree, yet gets excited easily and is prone to mischief. Respects boundaries, but is likely to push them both with his sadism and with his teasing. In rare instances, he very much likes to cuddle.
