And this is the sentence I typed the day of the birth of Ray (1º August 2008)

It's just I've found this drawing in my computer and I thought that submit it and tell the story of Ray would be funny :3

It's a very simple story. I was totally blocked. I didn't know what to draw, but suddenly came to my mind the idea of a character that accidentally shaves its hand.
At that time, I had not any character, but I was thinking about draw one with a red shirt and blue jeans.... and I drew a fox with a red shirt. And that's how Ray was created.
Since then, I started to draw him more and more, I gave him a name (five months later of his creation), I created new characters around him, and finally I started to use him in my avatars and such.
Now, lots of people assume I draw myself as Ray.

So this is the story of Ray. A random character that now represents me >.>

And now look the drawing... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGH!!!!! It's horrible!!!! I'm a bit ashamed of it...

Y esa es la frase célebre que escribí cuando Ray nació el 1 de agosto de 2008. Me emociono cada vez que la leo...

Nada, que el otro día vi este dibujo -el primero de Ray- por algún rincón de mi ordenador y pensé en subirlo aquí y explicar un poco de dónde salió Ray :3

Estaba yo (hace año y medio si no cuento mal) que no se me ocurría nada que dibujar. Estaba totalmente bloqueado. Era incapaz de hacer nada... vamos, lo que se le llama un "artist block" y, a base de darle vueltas a la cabeza, al final se me ocurrió dibujar a un personaje al que sin querer se le afeitaba la mano.
Yo por aquel entonces no tenía ningún personaje específico, pero ya me rondaba de hace tiempo el hacer un personaje con camisa roja y pantalones azules (antes Ray tenía los pantalones azules, y sí, ya sé que aquí no se ven) y... pues mira, dibujé a un zorro con una camisa roja. Y fue así como apareció Ray. Qué comienzo más cutre que tuvo ¿eh?
Y nada, a partir de ahí, lo fui usando para más y más dibujos, hasta que me di cuenta de que ya había llegado un punto en que tenía que ponerle un nombre (tardé como cinco meses en ponérselo >___>). Y así, pasó de ser "el zorro ese con la camisa roja" como lo llamaba yo, a ser Ray.
Y ya desde ese momento la cosa fue a más. Dibujé otros personajes que lo complementaban (por una parte para no dibujar siempre al mismo y también para profundizar más con el propio Ray). Luego ya lo usé como avatar en todos sitios, incluso aquí me puse Ray como nick... y ya ha llegado un punto en que todo el mundo da por supuesto que me dibujo como Ray.

Y esa es básicamente la historia de Ray. Pasó de ser un personaje de esos que dibujas porque sí, a ser el que me representa >.>

Pero fijaos en el dibujo... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!! Pero qué cutre!!! Me da vergüenza mirarlo...
