I played a LOT of Warframe last year and the year before that, so I was playing when they first introduced the Mimics. I read the update notes before I played that day, but I wasn't really prepared for them. Thankfully, it only took a few screw-ups before I got really suspicious of every single oddly placed item in my path. It also helped that I'd run that map enough times to know when something SHOULDN'T spawn there. My main at the time was my lovely Frost Prime.
