That's the thing- most people are so like "OMG WTF" or "awww so cute" to even be able to make fun of you in fursuit in public. Dunno, just my experience xD

important rule: never go fursuiting alone. At minimum have a watcher; somebody out of suit to tell the kids not to pull your tail, or remind you that it's time to rehydrate, or scare off the hecklers and such.

I dont know of any other furries here in new york.
I have tons of friends but I'm not to sure how they
would react me being a furry and all. :P "They dont know."

Most people would get it and either leave you alone or want a picture with you.
