Sierra was used to the view from the bedroom of her camper being an expanse of trees or the fences of a park, but sometimes she longed for a bit more. She was wintering in a decently large town, the work she had for her stay being well-paying, and she felt that she'd kick back with the snowcapped peaks out through the glass. She checked in to a nice resort room, seeing the snow flecked across the glass, her breath leaving fog as she looked out at the world. Warming up some cocoa and throwing off her shoes, she sat in the nook by the window, admiring the scenery and the people below enjoy the snowfall in the golden glow of lamps. She felt all warm and fuzzy, the chocolate smell permeating the air, and a smile touching her lips. These were the simple comforts she enjoyed stopping for.
