Random painting to help me get out of an art block. D: I'm sure there's a few things that can fixed, but for now I'm happy that I accomplished something (and that it's print-sized, yay)~
I wrote down "steampunk rabbit" on my sketchbook last night, but I guess it ended up being a lot different when I finally got to painting the idea. XD

Wow, that's, kinda creepy. Even without red eyes I'd be wary of the rabbit, and I'm a wolf! It's like he's thinking "I know something you don't know", and that something is very, very bad for you. Isn't it amazing where your mind can go when you let it wander? The lighting and shading really set this piece off, and the limited color palette really set of the ambiance off...I guess the best way to put it is a sense of uneasiness. Not to knock on you, but there are some people out there who might have nightmares after seeing this, as my mind is already wandering down that path (though my dreams never make any sense, and I can't remember the last nightmare I had).
Well done my friend, well done.

Wait a minute...since when have rabbits had that many sharp teeth? There's something sinister about this bunny! Methinks he's up to no good. In fact, the longer I look at this, the creepier it gets. Of course, that might have something to do with my playlist pulling up a particularly eerie bit of music. ("Babylon," from Masters of Chant Chapter II, by Gregorian)
This is seriously good work. I'm 100% behind the praise that it's received so far, and I am most definitely going to download this and add it to my favorites. I might even make it my chosen desktop background for a while.
By the way, I think you got a little Goth in your steampunk.
