FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDERWACKING
The Fudderwacking scene is the best and worst scene in the movie. I’ll explain in a sec.
Mind you that I had no intention of watching this movie, was scare that I would suffer some sort of overdose from the saturation of Tim Burton-ness , but then some friends call and say “lets go watch it” and I go “ok” so this way I got someone to rush me to the hospital if the worst came to happened.
So the movie was….ok, not good, just ok. Tim Burton these days has a weird issue with pacing, like the movie just starts, goes from scene to scene and there’s no build up to when you get to Wonderland (or Underland). Its just , Bam! Bam! Bam! And you just get there. This make the whole movie feel hollow/ flat and with no energy. I think he did a better job at creating a sense of fantasy and wonder in “Big Fish”. If this movie was a Cheese, it be a dry sour cheese, you can still eat but you’re most likely not take another bite (well depends on your taste for cheese).
And this brings me back to the fudderwacking scene (sounds nasty). Is the best scene in the movie because for the first time in the whole movie I felt some sort of energy, it was totally lame CG with some cheap ass music, wacky and cheesy, but it felt alive. And its the worst scene in the movie because it breaks the whole feel of the scene. Like the whole movie just stops for Johnny Depp (who wouldn’t?) to do his mad hatter dance and then it resumes., and even thou they been foreshadowing this event for the whole movie, it still feels like it came out of left field.
but there was one good thing to go along with it. this

There's no instructions for getting a larger version of the comic, simply the link, which I did click. I never said I didn't, or that it wasn't working on the site. I was simply commenting that unfortunately FA didn't do this justice. But thanks for trying to demean me and look stupid in front of everyone for no reason. I really appreciate that.
lol
i agree with you the movie did move a little fast but i thought it was interesting to play on the fact of the "return to"
I just like the whole feel of that idea, but it did move WAY TO FAST to get here there then it was just DO THIS DO THAT! and bam! ending O_o;
I wish it was a little longer...
The dance was interesting and made me and my fiance both go "WHA????" then laugh...
but it was at the wrong moment and just killed the whole VICTORY!
this comic... BEST!
love the the rapping part ^^

I tooootally agree with you on, like this whole thing! It seems like a lot of the big event movies suffer from this, particularly ones that are based off books, where they're trying to cram way too much into a film. Harry Potter 6 was better about it, but 4 and 5 have the worst pacing. It makes me sad bc I love the books so much :\
When I click http://random-domain.com/ my antivirus blocks me due to malicious URL access. What's with that?
Am I the only 1 who wanted that enoying little brat to get killed by the Jabberwocky, I mean she tells it to stop talking, chops its toung off then she jabbers on about how things in wonderland are not real during the entire fight scene. Pissed me off seeing the dragon get its head chopped off with that over used dumbass 1 liner "Off with your head" coming from that little twat.
the movie wasnt bad but I couldn't watch that entire Fudderwacking scene, was to weird even for wonderland

I saw the movie, couldn't agree more... I also thought that scene was very unfitting :/
I like the one that was made in 1999, THAT was the best! When Whoopi Goldberg was Cheshire Cat, Miranda Richardson was the Queen... I am grown up with that version. And yeah, your description couldn't be more accurate
