oh hi Everyone's Grandpa how are you
Benizakura is THE embodiment of wasted potential, all because he died way too soon. I'm not entirely sure WHY he was killed before the final battle given he was respectable, powerful, and uhhhh Gin had this big moment in getting him to join?? This is Bogus and also Stupid and yes I'm still mad that he died early and yes it's because he's one of my favorites shhhhh
I was feeling a bit more playful when designing Zak here because he has one of those wrinkly dog faces I really love and always have fun rendering. Given he's canonically a Tosa mix and his markings make basically no fuckin' sense, I just kinda played with his coloration and white spotting. Hence the half cap of white on one side of his head. I'm not sure what kind of dog he'd be mixed with, but I guess it doesn't matter. Make up your own backstory.
