There's no logic, just rule of cool and laziness from the MLP creators.

It may be powerful relic from the past or something like that.
After all, true adventurers always wield strange stuff made by other species for other species, usually ancient and mighty, even if it's not very comfortable for them to use.

Your sculpture drawings are incredible!

You get the wrathering on the sculptures perfectly. Small cracks, bit of green starting to grow. Some leaves falling on it and so forths.

The environments are also excellent. Lots of nature, odd mysterious drawins on that one little stone on the left lower side. Small critters about while having very varied lighting on different spots on the drawing.

All in all. This is phone background worthy. Brilliant work. :)
