What parade were you in? Thanksgiving Day, St. Patrick's Day, or another type of parade?
French horns and tubas are such cool looking instruments. When I was in 2nd grade, my mom wanted to get me into music lessons and she asked me what instrument I'd like to learn how to play (thinking that I'd name something that most normal kids would say, like guitar, or drums, or piano). I told her I wanted to play either a harp, a tuba, or a bassoon. I guess she wasn't really taking my imput seriously, because a few days later she signed me up for piano lessons, lol (unfortunately I have absolutely no ability when it comes to learning and being able to play music. My timing is horrid and my hand coordination is even worse). I always have liked French horns too though. They have a very nice sound to them, not as squeaky high as a trumpet or trombone, and not as earth rumblingly deep as a tuba.
I can tell that your music makes you happy. I hope you always keep that love of playing music inside your heart.
