The Dogbomb traumatizes another young victim...
This kid was shy and just wanted a closer look at the large dog ambling
along the pier. His father, preparing him for future business meetings
and political meet-and-greets, insisted that the kid shake my paw , look me in the eye, and introduce himself in a loud, clear voice.
Having done that, the youngster broke out in million question mode, most of which I handled with the finesse of an anvil.
As his dad tried to move him along, and my answeres degenerated into monosyllabic grunts, the kid realized that he had been duped.
He wasn't gunna' get to keep the dog and no amount of glad handing was moving him any closer to ice cream and video games.
Oh, it's a hard lesson. Even a fursuiter can't save you from the harsh realities of the grown-up world.

Yours truly met Yogi and Boo Boo at a mall when I was a mere lion cub. I was wearing my hooman suit at the time so they didn't know I was really a lion... But I STILL so fondly remember them! I'll guarantee you HE'LL remember you!
The question is, in fursuit or out, in public or private, or on the therapist's couch when the "breakthrough" finally happens and "it" all goes back "to that day on the pier..."
Hugs from de' white lion.

The two questions asked that really stand out in my mind are
"can you fly?" and "do you eat hot dogs?"
Both seemed like good questions at the time.
I assured him that I could indeed fly if the need arose
and that I ate hot dogs, but not in public.
We have a July suit completion target, eh?
I can't wait to see Waggable 3D!

*waggwaggwagg* I'll also be in surround sound too! (Where available) hehe Noble said it would be ready before Aug, most likely mid July.
LOL @ questions. I can fly too however it requires a magical herb which also makes me hungry and has this effect of making everything hilarious and movies sooo much better! hehehehe *hugs*

XD when fear is broken the questions fluid in like a river. at least he had the chance to meet true diversity, i hope when he gets older he will be able to accept people like us, unlike the generations before. i have a feeling he will. i am also glad that his father is accepting of people differences, and is willing to show it to his son without fear of accepting the different people of this world. what true compassion and understanding. it makes me happy. :3
it is funny, it seemed he wanted to take you home. XD
but who wouldn't want to have you has a dog? X3

In a little child's eyes we are real. Like Bugs, or Big Bird or whoever! There is the "two's" that almost all kids go though that lasts on, two or perhaps three years were they fear the "giant-sized version" of their animal character friends. But once past that, the NATURAL reaction is wanting you.
After all, a kitty is a kitty, whether a lion or a tiger and a doggy is a doggy, whether a fox, wolf, coyote or "over-sized" Shepard.
