Tessera is classified as a "Noble Outborn Xu'ul" since he possessed very unique properties compared to other Outborn, though he would never call himself a Noble.

The unique properties in question are the extra set of arms and his extremely calm, almost zen-like attitude (Most Outborn are very aggressive and competitive). He very carefully manipulated the growth of his horns throughout his life to give them their halo-like shape, otherwise they would have curled around his ears like those of a common Moontail

He's a master of several martial arts, some unique to his species, but he does so as a means of keeping focus and discipline. That doesn't mean he won't defend himself though! And in spite of appearances, he is friendly and still possesses the fierce protectiveness Outborn get toward those the grow close to.
